Should I send him a rose?

My high school has this thing called "Send a Rose to a Friend". You buy the tag, fill it out and then on Valentines Day they deliver theh rose to the friend you choose. I wanted to send one to the guy I like. I have liked him for over a year now but I haven't told him. I wanted to send him a rose but not sign it so he doesn't know its from me. My mom said she doesn't want me to do it if I am not going to sign it. I dont see what the big deal is. Should I send him a rose?

Gurl, send him the rose AND put your name......what if he likes you too? But if you never put your name on there, he might not ever know you like him too, and you could miss out on a lot of stuff....

Reply:Yes do send him the rose, it would be a very kind act. I personally think that you should sign your name on it. If you don't then sending him a rose without a name would be like not sending him one at all. He would be suspicious, but no more then that, nobody else will confess to it.
Reply:Just because you send him a rose that doesn't mean you're telling him that you like him. If you don't want to fess up that you like him then you can always say something as simple as "I just thought it would be nice and you could use a smile".


Sign your name to the card, its only a rose, not a marriage proposal. If you don't then you are the only one that knows you sent it, then you may as well be sending the rose to yourself.


Small steps to courage are better than none at all.

Reply:Well as a guy, i think that it is corny to begin with to get flowers, so you might be better off giving him something else. he might be more embarrassed by getting one and will ruin any chances for the two of you to get together down the road. My advice, if you send it, DONT SIGN IT!! If he likes it, then tell him that one is from you OR sign it with your name spelled backwards or something, like a puzzle kind of thing. But I wouldnt sign it....cuz if he gets embarrassed then he will be mad at you for embarrassing him, but if you dont sign it, he likes it, then telling him will be the better for you!! (put something on there to prove that you sent it though-in case he asks you to prove it!
