I bought some Rose Quartz. How can I use it?

I bought some pretty unpolished rose quartz that I am currently leaving in salty water overnight. Unfortunately, I am unable to leave it in the moonlight, but Im told that this isnt the end of the world.





Id like to use it to heal a kind of unpleasant situation that has occurred between a very good friend and I. It wasnt so much a fight as an expression of feelings and some difficult issues that may have to be faced..





I would like to use the rose quartz to give and get some positive, peaceful, loving energy for us both and restore our relationship to how it has always been.





Can anyone recommend some kind of meditation where I can use my pretty new rose quartz to do this?

You might not be able to get things back to "how it has always been". Sometimes things happen in relationships that need to in order for them to grow and move on to a next level. You say so yourself that there are some issues that need to be faced. What you could do with the quartz is use it to make sure that any issues that are confronted are done with an open-heart and understanding. That by facing these issues, that you foster a deeper love and respect for each other. That the feelings you are expressing are from the heart and you only want things to get better. You could meditate that you and your friend are surrounded by pure love and all words are expressed from that place. Make a list of the positive parts of the relationship already known and place them under the stone. Ask that going forward, let these positive things be a foundation for building on a stronger relationship in the future by facing these issues that need to be worked on. All friendships have their ups and downs, it's how we grow through them that makes them last. Can you break off a piece and put it in a pouch to share? The best thing about very good friends is that they tend to forgive us fairly easily, especially when we take the time to say we are sorry and try to talk things out honestly.

So you gave him the "I might have deeper feelings" talk. That is always a HUGE step in a friendship, believe me, I've had them. The honest answer though is still, you can't put the genie back in the bottle. But this doesn't have to be a bad thing, you can still work with the spells/rituals I suggested. You could pair up the rose quartz with a piece of clear quartz for clarifying of feelings between you two. Wrap a piece of paper around the stone with a wish for your friendship to remain strong through this and that whatever decision he makes be made with honesty and pure love on his side. Look toward what you will feel if he decides that he only wants to remain friends. You could place the stone over a picture of the two of you at a time when your friendship was at it's best, just as friends. Ask that the friendship remain as strong as it was at this moment and that your heart understands that this was probably a difficult decision for him, but he made it as honestly as you were with him. Reply:i think you could do alot of things, but here is what comes to mind.





first, find pink things for an altar - candle, bowl with water, cloth, flowers - whatever feels right. put the quartz in the center of the altar and ground and protect yourself and your space. then spend time writing, talking, crying, or whatever you feel to express how you feel. hold your quartz in your right hand and charge it with love and light and healing. carry it with you.





another idea: get a bay leaf, a piece of paper, a container, and a marker. write your heart's desire on the paper, wrap the paper around the bay leaf, and charge the bundle to make your wish come true. place the bundle in the container, put the lid on, and hid the container. let it do its thing.
