Does every rose have a thorn?

i am not so sure, i dont remember the last time i noticed a thorn on a rose that i bought the last one i bought was on July 10th. i can t quite recall but it was a white rose and it was pretty

Does every rose have a thorn?
yes, although that is a rhetorical question. Some roses don't have actual thorns, but there is some minor flaw. ( thus the statement every rose has it's thorn)
Reply:A few species of roses only have vestigial thorns that have no points.
Reply:yes i think
Reply:Some roses actually don't have thorns, but their stems are weaker then those that do.

Roses with thorns are stronger last longer and are larger.
Reply:I think that sometimes the florists take them off or something because sometimes there are and sometimes there aren't thorns.
Reply:Sure. You've just got to skirt them as best you can. It gets easier as one gets older; not making a big drama out of everything that is.
Reply:Yes, alot of florists remove them before they sell them.
Reply:not all
Reply:Nope! Not if you purchase them from A Flower Shop! LOL! ♥ :o)
