Will Beasley and Rose help balance out the "power" in the 2 conferences?

I think Rose and Beaslty will help balance the 2 confrences Quickly,,,,Chicago getting either Rose/"Beastley " will throw them right back into a top 10 NBA team..and Miami with a healthy D.Wade,Marion and either Rose/"Beastly" will be GREATLY improved(probably top 5 in the East)...so my Question is do u think these 2 guys can help "even" the 2 confrences? if Mello and Camby wouldve went to New Jersey i wouldve said with out a doubt...but these 2 will help...

Will Beasley and Rose help balance out the "power" in the 2 conferences?
What up Ralphgoblue,

i would say that Beasley and Rose will definitely elevate Chicago and Miami into instead contenders in the East, but with 6 straight conference finals appearances and a 66 win season- the Pistons and Celtics are clearly the class acts of the East, with Orlando, Washington, and Cleveland waiting in the wings. Chicago and Miami can easily rise into that top 3, top 4 position and would have to knock off one of the two big dogs to get there.

The West is still much more talented than the East and looks to be getting better next year- so it's hard to say that these two teams will automatically be on the same level as the top teams in the West. We know that what's on paper and how chemistry actually works out are two different things- but they definitely will make Chicago and Miami two teams that should be in the playoffs next year and we'll just see how far they can go.

It definitely is good for the NBA that they ended up in the East and not on the West Coast.

Reply:Although these are two great players that will make an immediate impact on their team, there will have to be much more than two players to change how much better the west is than the east. The 9th team in the west finished 48-34 which would have put them in fourth in the east. The depth in the east is non existence and it will take a few more years for the two leagues to balance out.
Reply:Nope...I personally think Beasley will be a flop.

Wade and Marion will both leave Miami.

Rose would be a good fit in NY...but I think Chicago will take him.

I don't see anybody in this draft class being a immediate impact player...maybe Rose but thats it...maybe someone who isn't getting any face time????
Reply:Not yet bro. These kids have yet to prove their ground. So to really shift the power to equal footing East must gain more superstars. Chicago had a chance with Kobe last year ...

Bull fan.

Hope this helps.
Reply:beasley will not prosper in the nba. take my word. i'll be answering your question again in december when he'd played at least 10 games.
Reply:nope ...west will dominate
