Jensen Elizabeth, Elizabeth Rose or Rory Elizabeth?

Preggy with baby # 2... Sitting here with my baby name list... And I just realized something... Elizabeth and Rose are both on my list. (Elizabeth was my grandmas name - Rose is my Mothers name) They sound too cute together (I think). My question to you is which combo do you like and why? My sons name is Brody William... I thought I balanced out an awesome unique name with a strong classic name. I wanted the same combo with my daughter (if I am having a lil girl - not sure yet) My husband and I both Love the name Jensen... I love the name Rory... But now sitting her seeing Elizabeth Rose together it looks sort of perfect (but maybe a bit over-used). What do you think?

Jensen Elizabeth, Elizabeth Rose or Rory Elizabeth?
I LOVE Jensen Elizabeth. I like it because of the meaning you gave. I also have another site, it's http://www.kabalarians.com which gives detailed meaning to names. Just so you don't have to hop over there and look up the meaning of Jensen, I'll add it here for you. I just want to say I also LOVE the name Rory too. That was one of my choices when I was pregnant. Rory Elizabeth is really pretty....I can't decide which one I like better,.

Although the name Jensen creates the urge to be creative and original, we emphasize that it limits your versatility and scope, tuning you to technical details.

You are stable, trustworthy, homeloving, and logical in practical matters, but rather unresponsive to suggestions from others.

AND so you have it.

Your name of Elizabeth contributes sensitive, creative, and idealistic qualities to your nature that could be expressed in a variety of literary or artistic fields.

You desire harmony and refinement in your environment and in all your personal associations.

Although mentally quick and intuitive in recognizing the thoughts and feelings of others, you experience a lack of fluency in verbal expression in responding.

MEANING OF RORY:

You do not readily adjust to changes in your routine.
Reply:Elizabeth Rose is beautiful...!!!! I also love Isabella Rose,

Rory is so cute but I like it for a boy's name more! as the same for Jensen for a boy.
Reply:I don't like Jensen. It sounds like a last name and if it was a first name I would use it for a boy.

Elizabeth Rose is very classic and pretty but nothing "pops" about it. It's pretty, but it's a little plain. I love Rory! That is such a cool name..but it's also cute, fun, playful, and pretty at the same time.

My vote is for Rory Elizabeth!

Also, if you still like Rose and want to use it, you can always name her Rory Rose Elizabeth. Rory Rose could be the first name..I love that, now that I think about it!

Congrats :-)
Reply:Elizabeth Rose, Rory is more of a boys name
Reply:I love all of your names, although I prefer Jansen over Jensen. Rory is adorable, but maybe she should have a proper name like Aurora for when she is an adult? Elizabeth is a name I might name my future daughter, and the nickname possibilities are ENDLESS-- Lizzy, Libby, Ellie, Eliza, Beth, Zabeth
Reply:I like Elizabeth Rose too. Just make sure the initials don't create some odd name (ERK if your last name began with a K) congrats on baby and good luck with names!
Reply:Elizabeth Rose is beautiful...and who cares if it's over-used you would be honoring two special women in your life...

I don't like Rory at all....I've always heard it as a boy's name. And it would be weird if you gave birth to a girlie-girl with a boy's name.

And while Jensen is unique...and not too strange...it doesn't flow with Elizabeth at all. You could do Jensen Rose....but that maybe too English Butler too.

I say go with Elizabeth Rose...it's definitely the best out of the three choices.
Reply:Hello again, I really enjoy answering your questions! You first introduced me to the name Jensen yesterday and I have loved it ever since. I am trying to convince my husband to use it for our little girl. Rory is an all time favorite, its a strong but cute name. Elizabeth is a classic and great name and its so cool it has a special meaning for you that you can tell your daughter. I know I always tried to tie in a meaning when naming my kids. At least in the middle name. I think my favorite is Jensen Elizabeth. I still love that name! I also love Rory. Which ever you go with will be great!!!

Reply:I like all of them, but I think Jensen Elizabeth goes best with your sons name.
Reply:Elizabeth Rose is perfect. Plus there are a ton of nicknames for Elizabeth
Reply:i love this Elizabeth Rose it just think it so pretty name
Reply:Jensen is really the only name that "goes" with the name Brody... Rory is a name I only like with Irish last names (and it does not flow with Brody since Brody isn't Irish!)... Elizabeth is too common and sounds odd along with Brody (to me it would seem that Brody got the better end of the name deal)...

Stick with Jensen Elizabeth....
Reply:I usually like unusual names myself (like Jensen) but you're right, Elizabeth Rose sounds beautiful together. And so sweet. They could also be a first name together, or Beth Rose, something like that, and then you could use one of the other names for a middle name.
Reply:I think that Elizabeth Rose is a beautiful name, or even Rose Elizabeth. Either way, it's a very traditional name, and everyone is going to say/spell it correctly. Something she'll thank you for later.

Although, I prefer Rory Elizabeth, just because it is a little less traditional. Rory and Brody go very well together, but I like the meaning that Elizabeth and Rose have to you.

Jensen to me sounds more like a masculine name. Although, If I were to use it, I'd put it with Rose instead, Jensen Rose. I don't think it flows as well with Elizabeth.

Either way though, your baby is going to have a name she can be proud of. Fingers crossed that it's a girl. :) Congratulations, and good luck finding a name that is right for your family.
Reply:always consider most carefully what the first name will be shortened to for daily use, the nickname, as that is what will stick.

Jensen is unusual and interesting, and it "goes" with her brothers unusual first name also. However, in daily use it will be shortened to Jen, which is also a very common name that is somewhat boring because it is so common. However if you (or she) insists on being called Jensen you can make it stick.

Elizabeth Rose is pretty, but very traditional, and it will be shortened to Liz in daily use... if you don't like the sound of Liz all day every day don't go there.

Personally I really don't like Rory, I think it sounds awful.
Reply:Elizabeth Rose is gorgeous. Elizabeth is so classy and has so many nicknames she could go by. Rory and Jensen are both boy names in my opinion and don't compare at all to the lovely Elizabeth.
Reply:I like Rory best.

You're right, Elizabeth Rose sounds really pretty, but it's too common for my taste. :)

edit: Also, Jensen sounds like a boy to me.
Reply:Elizabeth Rose
Reply:What about.. Rory Elizabeth Rose (insert last name here). Personally, I think its a comprimise, and it sounds adorable!
Reply:I disagree with over-used. I work in a school and have not come across an Elizabeth for years. Think people tend to use it more as a middle name. It is a strong and classic name which is also pretty. It can be shortened to Beth, Lizzie or Eliza, all of which are considerably better than Jenson or Rory.
Reply:What about Madison Elizabeth
Reply:i love the name elizabeth rose!!!
