i don't get why a rose sybolizes love. i mean, a rose is beautiful at first and when u grasp onto it, it hurts you. so shouldn't a rose symbolize heart break. plz tell me if i'm wrong.

Well actually i think ur rite sometimes like when ur really hurt well when im really hurt all most all dat i can think bout is roses u kno.Like when somethin is wrong wit ma family dats all i can think bout it gets me more down But when some1 gives me 1 i kno i get happy cuz dat just mean dat they like appreciate u
Reply:firstly, it refers to red roses which is thought of as being a deep, passionate and romantic colour as well as it obv. being a flower which all tend to have a slight romantic feel to them.
