I need some Rose plant Help?

Ok here is the deal.My sister in law had this beautiful Rose Bush Tree..They sold thier land and the new owners dug the Rose up.I went up and got it.Some branches were dried out real bad I cut them off.The roots are still real moist and bendable. So I have pruned it way back got off all the dead leaves and branches.

My question is what else can I do to this plant to make it hearlier and happy in it's new home.I really want to save it.It was so beautiful..Thanks so much..Rose lover...Melody

I need some Rose plant Help?
Plant it in rich soil in a sunny spot. I like to use rose fertilizer spikes which last all season. If you can find the kind that also protect from insects, you will have healthy roses. Good luck.

I can't imagine anyone who would be idiotic enough to dig up and discard a rose tree. When I sold my house, the new people did the same thing. I have 8 big healthy bushes with roses of every color and they neglected them until they died.
Reply:plant it in good soil and add some Rose plant food. remember to water it.
Reply:Dig a hole where your Rose Bush Tree will be planted. Take 1/2 of the soil you dug out and mix it with Bumper Crop Organic Soil Builder made by Master Nursery and 2 cups of Rose-tone. Blend soil, bumper crop and Rose-tone together well. Refill the hole 1/2 way with this soil mixture. Make a cone out of the soil in the hole to put the plant on. Spread the roots evenly. Add 4 - 5 inches of soil and pack firmly around the roots. Fill hole within 2-3 inches from top and fill with water and let it soak in. Finish filling hole. Feed monthly with Rose-tone from beginning of season to middle of September bu sprinkling 3 cups of Rose-tone around plant where drip line is. Just like sprinkling salt and pepper on food.
