Well I found a video of Janis Joplin saying : How are you doing out there? You staying stoned and you got enough water and a place to sleep and everything?
Well I watched The Rose, and she said the same.
Any doubts that The Rose IS Janis Joplin? It's pretty obvious...of course Janis didn't die onstage, but MOST parts of the movie had direct quotes from her and really were about her life...what do you think?
The Rose=Janis Joplin?
The Rose is supposed to be about her...I've known that for years and never even saw the movie. I'm sure it's not completely the truth, but hollywood always screws things up.
