My rose bush wont bloom?

i have several rose bushes i planted in a pot in the late winter. they are growing great and they got red leaves but they havent produced any blooms. there are no yellow or spotted leaves and when i do see one i do pull it off. the stems are long adn thin if that matters. it has full sun. what is the best fertilizer for a a rose i have been using miracle grow. the stems are about 4-6 feet long the plant tself is about 4-5 feet tall. should i take it out of the pot or should i leave it alone?

if it is a standard rose, it may be root bound, which will keep it from blooming. you can tip it out and look at the root ball, if the roots are bound up, repot it or plant it in the ground. feed it well, but go easy on the nitrogen, as nitrogen keeps it from blooming and makes it set leaves instead. my grandmother always composted coffee grounds and banana peels for her roses.
Reply:it may be the root stock growing. when thay plant a rose thay graft a flowering part to a root part if the flowering part died you will not get flowers.
Reply:stop feeding miracle grow, that only makes it grow.the

plant or bush is asked to grow ,not mature.the only food

it needs is bonemeal
