Rose water, good for the skin?

I met a 59 year old lady today at work and she looked amazing. I was surprised she said 59 and I would have said 40, she looked great for a 40 year old even and had the most amazing skin. Now obviously genetics has a big part to play by this, aswell as her lifestyle but she swore by using rose water as a part of her daily skincare. She said she has always used it and would reccomend it to anyone.

Does anyone use rose water as a part of their skincare routine?

Rose water, good for the skin?
Yes it does work, it's all natural and most of the girls in my family use it, it really does give off a radiant glow, provided that you're using PURE rose water, and not the "fake" one with alot of additives. If you go to a pakistani/indian store, you'll usually find some really good ones that are pure and natural, i use one called arq-e-gulab, and i stock up on it when i go to pakistan (its only about 5p there!) but look out because many department stores will try and sell it to you (probably with additives) for a big price.

So in answer to your question, I use it as part of my daily routine, sometimes on its own and sometimes with other products, and it definetly works. It compliments the other skincare products I use too, whilst being great on its own.
Reply:I love to use the rose water to refresh and moisturize my skin. It works great.

I love the rosewater from www.bulgarianroseotto.com

The price is high but the quality by far is the best i have found Report It

Reply:Yeah i use it as a toner. I put some rose water on cotton wool and then on my face. It clears the dirt off my face and makes my skin feel smooth and smell nice.
Reply:yeah, um my mom uses it and its meant to be good to get rid of freckles!
Reply:mum used to use it and she still looks young at 55. so yes rose water is really good it gives you a bright and radiant complexion and soft skin but in addition to this you need to drink a lot of water, eat plenty of fruit and vegetables do regular exercises and get good sleep. oh yes you also need to keep away from makeup that contains harsh chemicals.

my nan used to use it too and she always looked really young

so go on give it a go no harm done in trying its natural so it wont do any harm,i have started to use it in place of my toner hoping that I'll look young at 50 too!!! good luck
Reply:I have a bottle of pure rose water that my mom gave me as a gift. for about 4 years I haven't used it because I thought she was kidding... Now ill use it, lol.
Reply:i do not use it though my cousin did before.

and she said that it really deos work.
Reply:I just read that Safflower Oil, the ingredient in many fine expensive body lotions/creams will make your skin baby soft and smooth like you couldn't believe. It's True. You can even

use it on your face. It's unscented, so if one really wants to,

they can add, or use their favorite perfume with no ill effects or clashing scents. Where do you find it?? In the cooking oil

section of your WalMart store. I looked in other stores, but Walmart was the only store I found it in. It's really great, soaks in and makes your skin ever so soft and smooth. Before that...Oil of Olay..Original version..served me well since I was a teen. No wrinkles to date...stay out of the sun and tanning booths..they'll kill you..wrinkle city.
