I often use rosehips for tea. I get organic in that as well.
More than the kind of rose, it is more important to know if it is pesticide free and food-safe.
If you don't have rose petals, you can always fragrance a tea with a few drops of rose water, which you can buy at may ethnic grocers or large markets.
