Derrick Rose?

on the mock draft, they said that derrick rose will be a once in a decade pointguard. do you really think so? i saw a player who is a true pointguard at 6-8, jimwell torion.. i don't know where he is from but i saw him on ESPN.

Reply:Derrick Rose is going to be a great point dude look at his measurables people talk about jump shots, but Magic wasn't a great shooter. Neither is J Kidd or Tony Parker. Derrick Rose although has great speed probably faster and quicker than Chris Paul, also Derrick Rose is like 6'4 bigger than Daron Williams and is way more athletic than both. ( check him out on youtube) He is also a great finisher; and oh yeah what makes a good point guard? Passing and vision. Well he has great vision, passing ability, and feel for the game. Dude is going to be alright.
Reply:I love watching the guy play. But the thing is that he was beating up on college kids. He has to get used to the NBA lifestlye of ending games at 11, flying at 1, having shootaround at 12, and then playing againg at 7. But I do think he will become a hell of a point guard. I hope Memphis drafts him, because there would be nothing better then going to the FedEx Forum, where he played college ball, and watching him play in the NBA. I want him to get drafted by the Grizz so I can watch him play in person more then twice a year.
Reply:If he improves his jump shot a bit. But I have to admit, he really is good. He has the "it" factor, he can throw up a hail mary shot and sink it when his team really needs it. Good ball handling and his inside game is really nice. But it will be interstering to see how he adjusts when he plays in the NBA. Only then will we really be able to see what he is made of. But I think he will be really good.
Reply:Derrick Rose is a combination of Baron Davis and Chris Paul, that's rare!! Zoran Planinic is a 6'8'' point guard and has done nothing in the NBA, talent and IQ along with defense makes Rose special.
Reply:I like derrick rose cause he has good ball protection and is a go to guy. When he comes to the nba in june or july whenever the draft is he will fit in rite away.
