Buy some silica gel at Michael's Craft store and fill a container. Immerse the blossom carefully into the gel. I believe you leave the rose for a couple of weeks to dry out the moisture. But, check the instructions. This method will keep the color. You could also tie the ends of a bouquet and hang upside down in a cool, dark, dry place to dry out. I think the silica gel is the best method though.
Reply:I usually hang the rose, after it has bloomed out, on a picture frame and when they are fully dry about 10 days or so, i put them in a basket %26amp; kind of gentily tap the rose head on the side of the basket so the pedals fall off nicely, still in tact.
