Rose pedals?????

O.k. so I saw these rose pedals for sale, which I think is incredablly romantic, but I'm not so sure what to do with them. I know I could lay them all over the bed, but is there anything more creative. My husband and I have been married for 8 yaers, so we're kinda past the mushy stuff now, but I want to do some thing special, maybe forget the rose pedals, but what else can I do that's not too silly?

Rose pedals?????
I have been Married for 13 years now and All I can say is the rose petals on the bed work GREAT. They do however stain the sheets but hey a memory like that should last a lifetime. Please don't get over mushy stuff it keeps the marriage alive. I say put the rose petals everywhere the floor the bed, table , never have to many. I put two bags in the bed and one bag in a hot steamy hot tub type bath tub. Hey have fun with them and keep up all the mush. He wont admit it but he likes it. As far as being silly isn't that what flirting is all about? Why should we lose the silly flirting and playing around just because we got married? Get the rose petals and a special outfit and take your favorite drink to the hotel and order in room service. My wife and go out once a month NO kids and we stay overnight a couple of times a year. It saved our marriage and I couldn't be happier. Get back to flirting too. Text messaging on the cell phone helps with that too. Good luck and have fun with it. Get back to the root of your relationship.
Reply:Even if you've been married for 8 years, there's always room for a little extra romance!! Here are some ideas for rose petals:

1) Float them in a tub and light candles all over the bathroom.

2) Spread them all over your bed.

3) Float them in a hot tub. If you don't have a hot tub, head to a hotel for the night and get a room with a jacuzzi tub.

4) Leave a trail of rose petals from the front door to your bedroom door and then surprise him on the bed in lingerie.

5) Put rose petals all over your dining room table and cook him a gourmet meal and eat by candle light.

6) Surprise him by being in bed with nothing on except rose petals covering up your more private areas.

Reply:Your never to old for mushy love....that's what keeps your love alive.....!! Start with a trail from the door and lead it to where ever you will be at the other end...the bath tub with candles lit all around, the bed, the washer, dryer, couch, counter top, etc....where ever! JUST HAVE FUN!!
Reply:Rose petals are great! You can always put them in the bathtub, and take a bath together, by candlelight of course! Chill a bottle of wine, and have it handy by the tub. You're only limited by your imagination. Have fun!
Reply:Do NOT put them in the bath tub. They are sprayed with pesticides. I wouldn't put them on the bed either, if you are intending to get in bed without removing them first. Maybe you could scatter them on the floor.
Reply:rose petals you mean.......if you have a big bath or hot tub run a nice hot bath and put the petals in it....or.....well send me an email and I will tell you what my ex-fiance and I used to do with them.............
Reply:Last year, this won me the "Most Romantic Husband" award at my wife's place of work:

Without telling my wife, I packed a cooler with our favorite champagne, 2 glasses and some homemade chocolate covered strawberries (recepi below) and put it in the trunk of the car. That evening told her I wanted to go for a ride. We drove to the beach, or any romantic place you choose, watched the sun set. She was thrilled. Don't forget the sexy love coupons (below) for when you get back home ; )
Reply:do the rose petals!!!!
