I just bought a white hybrid tea rose bush (honor) and some of the rose buds are having smaller rose buds grow from inside the first rose bud after the pedals fall off from the first bloom. I've never seen anything like this. 1 of the rose buds looks like it has a dozen more smaller buds. Does anyone know what this is???
Flowering rose bud????
it could be a question of what the rose was hit with.fusilade is a grass herbicide but can alter the genetics in broadleaf plants and make them do weird things just like your rose.it can cause some plants to have flat stems.take it back if not satisfied.hybrid tea roses have a single flower on a single stem so its not what you payed for.
Reply:maybe it has to do with the type of rose bush. some different types grow differently.
