Me and my boyfriend like to learn about random stuff like symbolism and Mythology. Well, when we were talking on the phone I told him that "the red rose symbolizes love" like for valentines day. And he said "No, the red rose symbolizes lust."
I asked my dad if that was true but he thought the red rose was for love also. I'm kind of curious and am wondering what is really true for the red rose.

Reply:i would say it symbolizes love because a red rose is INTENSE, it means adoration. i would say white means devotion, pink means affection, yellow means friendship, lavender means admiration, coral means warmth, and hot pink i would think means lust
