Well I found a video of Janis Joplin saying : How are you doing out there? You staying stoned and you got enough water and a place to sleep and everything?
Well I watched The Rose, and she said the same.
Any doubts that The Rose IS Janis Joplin? It's pretty obvious...of course Janis didn't die onstage, but MOST parts of the movie had direct quotes from her and really were about her life...what do you think?

I am a rose?
in the night i sleep soundly as a part of me dies.

Is Rose Red a real house?
Because I've read that Stephen King based his movie on Rose Red, a real house in Seattle. And then I've read that he based it on a completely different house. So, is there really a house called Rose Red with a real Ellen and April and all of that, or is it all just made up?

My rose bush looks sick. I put on a fungicide because I saw black spot, but I may have overfertilized.?
Can anyone give me a link to an overfertilized rose bush? It looked sick after fertilizing just a few days ago. At first, I thought it was taken over by rust, then I remembered fertilizing it. Now I realize that July is not a good time for fertilizer, but I would like to know for sure what is wrong with the rose bush.

For now, go out there and flood it deeply with water. After a couple of days, flood it again. When the soil dries out a little bit, flood it again. Do not do anything else to it for now. It seems to be in shock. This is a wait and see situation. Sometimes we lose a few. Next time before planting do a good search on how to plant and care for roses. And diseases of roses and how to control them. Then do your soil mixture and plant a new rose bush.

The evening is a huge success and as he drops her at her door he says "I have had a lovely time. You looked so beautiful, you remind me of a beautiful rambling rose. May I call on you tomorrow?"

the Rose"..
What a site to see we say, but do we really know
what a Rose like you goes through , to spring that certain glow.
In the winter she hides way, so patiently ,, she sleeps,
a wishing well of strength and love, but quietly she weeps.
Awaiting old man winter to melt, so she may gallantly reappear,
this sweet princess, her blossoms begin to stare,
at my heart that shines so bright,, oh ,, the glory that she brings,
stopping nature in it's tracks as the Bluebird spryly sings.
This song to me about Annette, that sets my blazing heart on fire,
to hold this Angel Annette one night,, would be my great desire.

plastic can be kept for a long time. rose can wilt in 1-2days. which is better in meaning / impact...

Each time a rose drys up, it's telling you it's time to tell her you love her all over again with a new one ;)
